Extremely well-rounded buggy with extreme attention to detail, prep, and appointed with the best parts. If you want a buggy that you can take to Glamis and have an extremely fast dune car, then show up with the goal to overall a stateside race - this is your car. Maintenance and prep is OCD, with big parts throughout. This is the perfect hybrid: light enough (3,500 lbs) to be fast through Glamis, and big enough parts to race Class 1. This is a purpose-built Class 1 legal car - not a Class 10 car converted into a Class 1. One of the last cars built by John Cooley and Brian Scarbrough before their departures from Alumicraft.

Torque converter and Albins shifts like butter with no-lift shift. The stall is perfectly tuned so it hooks up and works great in the sand, with temps never exceeding 190 degrees.

Car was just prepped by Josh O'Neil at The Jewler. Only has one race on it - 125 miles at Battle at Primm, where the car ran 125 mph, won Class 1, and beat all the spec trucks, finishing 2nd overall to an AWD trophy truck.

This car would also be a serious threat on the Circuito Bronco in Cabo - the combination of light weight and big-car components.

Car is ready for the Dunes. Completely tore down and rebuilt in 2022, 5 trips since rebuild and oil was changed after each trip. New Subaru STI closed deck motor and OutFront intercooler set up built by John at OutFront, transmission rebuilt by AZ Transaxle. Frame powder coating and all other parts were stripped and inspected and added rear sway bar, then re-powder coated frame and all parts. Rebuilt King shocks, other new items include seats, harnesses, radiator, starter, CV's, 930 mid board hubs, clutch and slave, new turbo, waste gate, injectors, timing belt, all new hoses and an adapters, new front shaved 33" Baja pros, new dune sport paddles. have receipts.

2019 Buckshot Avenger – One-of-One Street Legal Build

This one-of-one, street-legal 2019 Buckshot Avenger has been professionally built, meticulously maintained, and recently upgraded with thousands of dollars in new components. Powered by a GM Performance LS3 525 HP crate engine, this Avenger has been upgraded with a NEW Magnuson TVS2650 supercharger and professionally tuned. The upgraded fuel system features twin Hellcat fuel pumps and a flex-fuel sensor, allowing it to run on E85 or premium pump gas.
Power is delivered through a 4L80E transmission with a Maximus Off-Road torque converter and programmable GM ECU. The drivetrain includes a Currie 9-inch rear axle with TrueTrac differential, 934 race-prepped CVs with 300M axles, a large front-mounted transmission cooler, and a CBR aluminum radiator.
