Selling Suspensions Unlimited Pro 2 sand car!
Moving out of California so sadly it doesn’t make sense to keep her any longer. Car was almost completely redone in 2021 off season. All work done by Ed with Suspensions Unlimited. Car has a total of 3 trips since rebuild. 2 trips in 2022 trip was amazing and car ran flawless. 3rd trip was in Saint Anthony dunes another flawless trip. Car is 100% desert ready all fluids were changed after break in so she’s ready for Glamis this season.

Suspension is completely balanced/tuned professionally this off season (Westwood) and the Chop at Glamis is almost un-noticable, additionally whoops are not a problem.

PLEASE READ ABOUT the PHOTOS: This car was one of 50 Cars (est.) built by Mike Monahan most were race cars, most went to Australia where they were popular because of their handling. So for the history of the car I have included extra photos of other cars with the same chassis design. The FIRST TWO PHOTOS LISTED ARE OF THE CAR THAT IS FOR SALE. This ACECO has been through several upgrades as I have owned and used it, now it is the best it has ever been just as I have decided to sell it. I did not take enough photos during the upgrades.
Also Doug Fortin approved of the paint to put on this car as a tribute paint scheme to his Class 1 car (see gallery).

For clarity: I am not claiming this as a car that Doug raced. I was one of his early customers buying a Fortin that worked perfect- in a different car-and a tribute to Dougs' FIVE Baja 1000 wins, was a great thing to do on THIS car as most of the Fortin shop that had been wih Doug the longest, thought it was one of his previous cars. He and Senior signed the hood and the underside of the roof panel.

The new owner gets a great slice of history that comes along with this Race car, Sand car or Pre-runner. Enjoy the car with pride, as people often comment on Doug's Iconic Flaming Fortin paint scheme (photos included in gallery). Requests for static displays come often.

Many things I probably forgot- Like..... Race radio, fresh air system, comes with 2 AFR systems one with the computer and a back up that always displays, it is a stand alone Air-Fuel- Ratio with a BIG LED display. Tire and parts rack, Spare tire and wheel with beadlock - Holley Terminator X Max ECU - Fast Intake. high flow "Y" air intake system- King Pro series shocks triple by-pass on every corner with remote reservoirs (under front bonnet)- Onboard Fire suppression system, Balance bar adjustable pedal for front to rear proportioning adjustment....
