New Corral Needed for ‘69 Bronco

ID# 209356Posted Jul 26
PRO LISTING
FOR SALE $250,000

Off Road Vehicles-209356

One of a kind 1969 Bronco inspired pre-runner, it is registered and licensed in California as a 1969 Ford Bronco. It’s a Jimmy’s 4x4 custom built ultra-4 inspired chassis that comfortably seats 4 full-size adults.

The heart of this stallion is a Ford Racing built Coyote Motor with a Roush Supercharger and a S&B particle air separator on the air intake, pumping out a little over 500 ponies to the ground. Headers and exhaust are custom wrapped by Header Shield vastly lowing the radiant heat that the Supercharged Coyote puts out. The transmission is a TH400 (ATI Racing Case & Bell Housing) with an Atlas T-Case, twin sticked. All the fluids are kept cool by custom CBR coolers (radiator, intercooler, transmission, and power steering). This is all being fed by a Pyrotect 40-gallon fuel cell.

This bronc’s stride has 124” wheelbase and stance of 88”width. The front end is a Jimmy’s 4x4 IFS with a Howe 3”x6” travel power rack steering, the rear end is a 4” Spidertrax Rear Housing with Wilwood disk brakes front and rear. Gear works housing and pinion support with US gears (5.43) and a Yukon spool and yoke. The smooth ride is provided by 2.5” King Coil-Overs shocks, 3”Bypass shocks, & Bump stops Front and Rear. He is shoed with 40” Nitto Trail Grappler on 17” Vision Manx Wheels.

His saddle is by PRP, with four Podium Elite Suspension Seats, front two are heated with lumbar. A dust handkerchief is provided by a S&B particle air separator for your pumper helmets when off-road, this means no paper filters to get clogged. The custom-built windshield with synchronized wipers is also removable. The rear-view mirror hosts four cameras (Front, Left, Right, & Rear) so you can see everything around you. Lawrence HDS 9-inch GPS and RAM Mount for your iPad is there to help guide your way. Several USB ports available so everything can be powered on. Switching is done by two Switch Pro’s that can be operated either the dash pad or iPhone or iPad. Communication is provided by a 100-watt Kenwood radio. Onboard coms are through PCI 4 link pro elite intercom. Off the grid coms is with an Iridium GO! satellite smart phone access device with external antenna. Both front and rear passengers have easy access to a large deep center consul for all your storage needs.

Custom Roof Rack that holds the KC 50” Gravity Pro 6 light bar. Roof Rack also has custom tie down mounts for 3 pelican style XL hard cases, and a Kibbetech Speed Tools quick release mount, will fit the Speed Tools race case or a pelican style rolling carry-on case.

Enough KC lights to make Night turn to Day on this rig. From the KC custom made dot approved driving lights. To the KC Flex Era 4’s and the Flex Era 2’s mounted on BAM Mounts allowing them to be adjusted by the pull of a pin. Two Deep cycle, Optima battery’s, maintained by a built in NOCO genius Gen pro 10x2 battery maintainer, just plug in the extension cord. A Permanent mounted Quick connect plug is built in so the 30’, 1 gauge jumper cables can be quickly plugged in to jumpstart a dead battery.

I almost forgot to mention the duel Viair air compressors with dual air tanks, and steel breaded airlines running to all four corners for quick access to air.

This Bronc could sit in your corral for $250,000, in older times you’d be hung for such a steal.

Dick Landfield and Bill Savage, both members of the Off Road Motorsports Hall of Fame

In 1972 Landfield was one of the founding members of the “First Association of Independent Racers” (F.A.I.R.), the oldest and largest independent pit support team in off-road racing today.

Landfield’s Enduro Racing competed in the Mickey Thompson Stadium Series for 10 years beginning in 1979 and in 1980 talked Thompson into starting the Annual SCORE Show on a bet.

In 1986, Dick retired from driving and continued on as team owner, hiring Dave Ashley as Enduro Racing’s driver and team manager.

In 1991, he developed the idea for the sport’s first multi-truck team, the Rough Riders, and convinced Ford Motor Company to sponsor and campaign the team, which included Enduro Racing, Simon & Simon Racing, Stroppe Racing, Spirit Racing, Swift Motorsports and Venable Racing, all top Ford teams.
Landfield teamed up with long-time friend and fellow Hall of Famer Bill Savage to compete in the NORRA Mexican 1000. Billing themselves as Team "O.L.D." in a Ford Raptor.
Team O.L.D.’s 2018 Ford Raptor is being prepped under the direction of co-driver Bill Savage, who knows a thing or two about the subject. He literally ‘wrote the book’ on tech and safety inspection for many major race organizations
