These distributors are Brand New units that have been customized with custom springs and weights to achieve maximum performance. We re-curve these distributors to advance much quicker than stock to provide excellent throttle response and quick acceleration. The vacuum advance unit is removed so you have complete control over your ignition timing. LC Engineering recommends this distributor for racing purposes only.

The non-vacuum advance distributors are a "Must Have" for any high-performance application including; drag racing, circle track, and off-road applications. If you have a tamer application; daily driver or mild performance, then you will want to check into our Pro Distributors with vacuum advance.

This model adds approx 18°-20° at 2000-2200 rpm.
Fits 20R engines with magnetic pick-up only. 20R engines with points style ignition will require replacing stock igniter with a MSD-6AL Digital Ignition w/rev Control, see Part #:1082026 along with a MSD Blaster 2 Coil, see Part #:1082032.
