Hi, without going into all the background here. We are a two car operation planning on a full season in 2021 with either Legacy or BITD. One car has committed to Legacy only , the other is yet to be determined. We are looking for guys, couples, ladies, doesn't matter. Not necessarily looking for people with experience, we can give that, we are looking for people who can commit to the season, and possibly help on maintenance with the cars between races( cleaning, organizing etc.). Shop is in Hesperia. We prefer people who are in the UTV owner/enthusiast group and local to the high desert. Racing is the subject but a good solid core group is what makes it worthwhile. We took a year off and changed classes, as well as built a brand new Can Am. We lost most of our group this past year, and looking to start fresh. To give you an idea of what to expect:
Off weekends we try to get the cars back to race prep asap after a race, second priority is getting spares and trailers / chase boxes back to race ready.Once cars and chase stuff is done, some weekends we will work on team members stuff, whether its UTV, RV, daily driver. We understand what you're giving , so we try to give back wherever we can.
At the end of those days (usually saturdays) we host BBqs, go for pizza, etc.
Race weekends cars leave for tech usually on Thursday night or Friday morning. Thats usually a limited amount of volunteers due to tech generally being on Fridays.
Most volunteers arrive on Friday night, when we have a team dinner/logistics meeting. Race on saturday.
We are image conscious and professional at all times. We are ok with a campfire party after the race, but try to keep it in moderation before. we don't tolerate unsportsmanlike conduct, or obnoxious behavior.
