Hi. I'm located in Mesa AZ and I'm starting a 2-1600 team for the 2024 racing season. Looking for four or five people that would like to help work on the car and then go racing. We'll be working out of my home garage in Mesa AZ so I would prefer local people. I would like this to be a fun collaborative situation. No experience needed just desire to race and being able to dedicate the time.

Looking to run some SNORE and SADR races. If we feel cocky we may try some of the bigger races like the Mint 400, Vegas to Reno, or some SCORE international races.

I'm 58 and have been desert racing for several years. Mostly motorcycles and some UTV. This will be my first attempt at 2-1600. The car I have is older and probably not competitive but I want to try it to see if I like it. If I like it then I may buy a new chassis. If not then I'll switch back to UTV.
