Hello this is Michael Merryman. I’m looking for an open driver slot to race a leg of the Baja 1000 with a Pro Stock or Pro Turbo team.
I was building my Maverick R for this season, but it won't be prepped and tested in time for November. Rather than rushing an unsorted car into the peninsula, I want to partner with an established program.
I took a brief break from desert racing when I had two sons born 14 months apart, but racing Baja has been a lifelong dream and I’m ready to get back behind the wheel.

I bring pace, proven car preservation, and financial and logistical backing for my stint.

'23 Mint 400: 2nd Place Finish
'23 California 300: Running 3rd in Pro Turbo before mechanical failure
'22 Baja 1000: Mile 67 motor failure
Short Course & Technical: Red Bull Beach Scramble Podium, multiple RallyCross wins, Woods racing wins

I know how to manage equipment over long Baja miles, hand off a clean car, and stick strictly to a target pace and pit strategy.
