Responsibilities - Provide technical assistance to customers on all Baja Designs & sPOD products - Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone and email on Baja Designs & sPOD items - Assist customers with product installations - Answer product fitment questions - Facilitate sales over the phone/email/walk in customers - Assist with in-bound sales inquires and upsell/cross-sell when necessary - Communicate with the engineering department to stay up to date on the latest products - Maintain product information material and organize for quick reference when needed - Maintain and initiate Warranty Claims. - Coordinate with shipping department for return of repaired orders and keep customers up to date on status. - Identify issues with various kits and communicate customer needs to Product Development team. - Keep up to date on new off-road vehicles and maintain knowledge on differences/updates in vehicle models. - Record customer feedback and relay information back to designated departments. - Understand all current and legacy products and attend all new product training. - Promote and maintain a positive attitude to our customers while exceeding their expectations for services provided. Candidate Requirements - 3-5 years of customer service/sales experience preferred. - Technical background with experience in: - 12 VDC electrical theory - Automotive battery and charging systems - Wiring, Switches, and Relays - Installation of aftermarket accessories (automotive, marine, motorcycle, etc) - Knowledge in the off-road industry preferred. - Willingness to learn about Baja Designs & sPOD products and accessories - High School Diploma required or equivalent - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) - Bilingual is a plus - MS Office Suite Intermediate Skills -NetSuite skills are a plus - Strong organizational skills and detail oriented - Ability to multitask - Strong telephone skills - Excellent teamwork skills and experience - Promote atmosphere of positive attitude to our customers while exceeding their expectations for services provided. Pay: $17-20/hr Plus Commission. D.O.E. *This role is more focused on Technical Support with opportunities of sales.
