Vintage Pre-Tag Meyers Manx

ID# 180096Posted Sep 18
FOR SALE $26,900
1959 VW Meyers Manx (Pre-Tag)

Vintage Vehicles-180096

It’s time to sell the family buggy. This is a genuine, certificated and highly sought-after pre-tag classic Meyers Manx buggy. This buggy is built on a 1959 pan and is registered as a 1959 Volkswagen. This buggy is street legal in California, smog exempt, has a clear title and has been authenticated by Winnie Meyers. This buggy has been built to be driven in the sand and in the mountains, as Bruce intended. You will see in the pictures that there are some flaws in the paint, including where the owner's daughter touched up a few places with nail polish that is a near match but not quite, LOL! Despite it’s flaws this is a great example of a solid, running buggy that you can take to the next Manx Club event and enjoy or tear down and restore.

Here are some details:

Authenticated pre-tag Meyers Manx (have not installed badges in case new owner chooses to re-paint)
Link pin front end
1959 pan converted to IRS
2” body lift
BFG Mud Terrain 31 x 10.50 x 15 rear tires
Off road 7.00 X 15 front tires
Corbeau front seats
Custom rear bench seat with belts
Polished Stainless steel Meyers Manx rollbar
Volkswagen bus 002 trans w/ 5.86 ring and pinion
1835 cc Volkswagen with new Empi single carburetor
Chrome Tri Mil Bobcat Exhaust
New brake drums and wheel cylinders front and rear
Working running lights, brake lights and turn signals
New battery
Registration is current and clear title in hand
Extra / new parts including new chrome headlight bezels, front bumper, tow bar and misc. parts

This buggy has been a ton of fun for the family for many years. The kids are older and we are ready for the next chapter so this buggy is ready for its next home. $26,900.00 or best offer. This is a runner/driver, not a restoration, so the price is fair and reasonable. A little research online will demonstrate that fully restored versions are routinely selling in the $40-$50k range.

I am assisting my buddy Steve with this sale, for questions or to set up an appointment to see it, please call or text me, Mike, at Seven Six Zero / 6O7-9263.

1977 Ford F150 4x4

ID# 180942Posted Oct 14

FOR SALE $7,400
1977 ford f150

Vintage Vehicles-180942

4x4 with 300 "Cleveland" straight 6 cylinder. Humvee "run flat" tires with a spare included. 4x4 shifts and engages smoothly. Mileage unknown.

I've been using this on our land as a work truck for a few years. It stays in 4-low and gets me wherever I want to go. I recently bought a UTV, so it's time to sell the truck affectionately known as "The Beast".

The body is rough, but I've always kept it running smoothly. Over time, I've replaced all the brake pads/shoes--front disc/rear drum brakes---new master cylinder and booster, new carb, heavy duty battery, new aluminum fuel tank on bed. The old tank is still there, but it is full of sediment. The driver's door window glass is gone, but I do have the trim panel for that door.

It's black tagged for off-road use only right now. I have a clean title in hand and I think you could easily register it for road use, though you'd need to fix some of the lights.

Use it as it is for a reliable work truck or out on 4x4 trails, or it would be a killer restoration project!
