Offered for sale or trade is my just completed Cognito race chassis/play car build. This has been my baby – 2yr and $125k project but the family could use pre-runner more so it’s available. The car has not even seen dirt yet – just a few trips around the block to function test everything. I was planning on doing a shakedown test run with Alsup RD soon – that can be done or skipped per the buyer. Anyways here’s a basic build description. I’m sure I’m missing a lot of details so if you’d like more info or pics shoot me a message. Started life as a brand new 2018 XP4 Turbo and stripped immediately. OEM chassis was taken to Cognito for a full race chassis build. Seating, steering, controls moved back and down. All paneling, firewalls, dash done. Chassis coated in Steel-it and panels pc'd black. 30 gal Cognito/Fuel Safe cell with dual Bosch pumps. Massive custom CBR radiator setup w/dual brushless fans – all AN fittings and custom hoses. UMP intake and CVT intake feed from upper light box plenum. Quick release mounted jack w/ 4 lift points on chassis. Custom front bumper, instead of push bar, and standard fuel fill neck. Custom Factory UTV skid for chassis. Window nets are included as well. The suspension is all tig welded Cognito LT w/fully built Fox aluminum internal bypass shocks. All ARP stainless 12pt hardware. Hess hubs & bearing carrier, ARP studs, titanium lugs, Galfer rotors & pads, all new thicker brake lines throughout car etc. Shock Therapy race rack and sway bars. Ebbco carbon shaft guards. Summer Brothers axles. Running Method 401-R wheels and Tensor 35" DSR tires.
The transmission, diff, cv's, and axles were taken to Cryoheat for treatment and polishing. The transmission is a full Cryoheat built pro mod, 10lbs weight removed. Front diff is a billet unit from HD Extreme. RCV carbon fiber drive shaft as well.
Engine is all stock except for ARP head studs installed by Sparks. Currently has a BD Dominator Big Turbo Kit, 200 rwhp on 91 but haven't turned it up yet. The full replacement original turbo/wastage setup is included as well. Sparks exhaust heat wrapped, billet fuel rail, CBR intercooler core etc. Updated Turbo S inner and outer clutch covers. Inside the car I have a set of Sparco Evo 2 US seats w/Simpson harnesses. Dual Safecraft fire extinguishers, one manual in car and an automatic system. The car was professionally wired and prepped by Mitchell at Alsup RD. sPod Bantamx w/HD smart panel for accessory power. Dual anti-gravity battery setup on switch. PCI comms setup, Kenwood and Trax as well as the RaceAir setup. Ipod holder w/Leadnav charger. Extra USB chargers for co-driver. AIM belt temp setup. Running 2ea LP6's on the bumper and 2ea Racer Edition XL's on the a-pillars. BD dome light as well. Cosmetically the car has a brand new OEM Turbo S front end, complete w/headlights & hood. Also has a custom made Glazzcraft one-piece fender/hood setup, to allow the use of the new Turbo S front end to the race car dash. One-piece fender painted to match OEM metallic black. Recently added a set of MagLock Raceair kits and Axia side mirrors - a few additional pics show the update.
As you can see the car is absolutely beautiful and ready to go for a kick ass play car or UTV Unlimited class. Could also be ready for the pro-turbo class very easy, dry break, front push bar, number plates, and swap back to the included oem turbo. Save $50k off build cost not to mention the time!!
