2003 7.3L 2WD Ford Excursion ALLISON Transmission SWAP $60k+ invested since 2019. Build started at 285k, currently sitting with 312k on the clock. Wanted a 2wd sleeper tow rig that could pull a house coast to coast while rolling coal with the whole fam. Bought a new mega cab last year and downsized some toys, not using it much.. 05-07 front end conversion with Harley Davidson edition headlights, PIAA LED bulbs, F450 tow mirrors. Dynamatted with a custom $7k stereo. 2-12” Diamond Audio subs hidden in the spare tire location, dual Diamond Audio amps, Focal 6.5”s, Kenwood receiver, Navigation, middle row captains chairs, hardwired top of the line radar detector, custom made center console with cup holders and a switch cluster wired up to a 20” front light bar. Allison 2000 series transmission conversion (triple disc converter) with Edge CTS2 display, Mean Green starter, and a Mishimoto 6.0L upgraded transmission cooler. Hydroboost, Power steering pump, ICP sensor, cam sensor, IAH delete, Adrenaline HPOP, new water pump, Glow Plugs, Upgraded Injectors (200cc roughly), coolant filter kit, Relay switch panel, Custom Center console, Upgraded turbo (40PSI waste gate), fuel bowl delete, Hydraflash tuner with swamps diesel tuning, High frequency IDM, Banks intercooler with boost tubes, Banks power elbow, EBP delete, Mishimoto Radiator, Mishimoto Overflow tank, engine oil cooler reseal, new front timing cover, Airdog Fuel Preporator, upgraded S&B intake tubing and upgraded aluminum intake manifolds to hold higher boost pressures, 240amp alternator with ambulance alternator mounted below. Truck has been gone through with fresh shocks, thermostat, radiator hoses, Upgraded Pure Forge disc brakes all around, new drive shaft, Eaton Tru Trac rear locker with new ring and pinion. S&B body mounts, ARB twin screw air compressor, 5 Gallon air tank and air fittings, Andersen jumper cables front and rear with 600amp fuse, front coil springs, Custom rear springs, New AC system. Probably missed some things but have records to prove the build. Fast as hell.. Paint is faded but sheetmetal is straight and true overall. Wouldn’t take much prep for a paint or wrap color change. All work was professionally done by a 40+year family run Diesel specific shop, can put you in touch with them for specific questions. Can assist with delivery between CA and TX. Clean TX Title, 2024 registration is paid, just need to stop in for an inspection.
