Lariat Crew Cab Short Bed 6.8L V10
Time for me to sell my F250. I’ve had it for a few years, but am buying a new truck. Truck is in great shape and everything works. I’ve used it as a chase truck in Baja, pack mule in Baja and Nevada. Pulled a 24 foot Toy Hauler into the Pismo dunes, and driven it to Texas and back. Never had an issue with it during that time.
The truck has always been a SOCAL truck, being originally sold in Orange County to its first owner. I know I’m at least the 3rd owner, probably more. The following is a list of how the truck was when I bought it and what all I’ve done to improve it. Truck from the factory is a 2001 F250 Lariat 4x4.
6.8L V10 Automatic with electric shift 4x4 and auto hubs with manual option.
Full leather interior with 40/20/40 bench seat in front.
Factory 4.30 gears with Posi
Factory 1 ton overload springs
Factory Fog lights.
I originally bought the truck with 120K miles on it.
Spark plugs were changed out at 100K by the P.O.
Rough country 2.5” level lift springs on the front.
Pro Comp 17” aluminum rims. 2500 miles
Cooper Discover AT3 tires 295/75R17 tires. 2500 miles.
All new U joints in drive line.
Husky floor liners throughout cab.
Bak Flip bed cover.
What I’ve done since owning it:
Replaced wheel bearing assemblies in the front and new wheel bearings and seals in the rear axles.
Best stop drilled and slotted coated rotors and heavy duty tow pads all around. Flushed the break fluid system.
New black accent head light assemblies with new bulbs.
New black accent tail lights and LED 3rd brake light assemblies.
Installed AMP research power steps to replace factory steps. Cleaner look.
Welded ½” steel block on rear block to level off truck. Back end sagged a little from the front “level” lift.
Installed a 5 star “Wye” pipe to replace the stock exhaust choke point.
Installed a new Kenwood double DIN stereo with all new door speakers and a powered sub behind the back seat.
Did the door gasket mod with silicon hose. Doors shut tight now.
Tekonosha Prodigy 3 brake controller with harness to plug into the factory harness.
Raptor Spray in Bed Liner
Custom built adjustable rail tie down system inside bed sides.
Custom installed Kenwood 790H radio. Main radio is behind the back seat. Remote head unit is mounted in the dash where the old cup holder was.
I will reprogram radio with frequencies to meet your needs.
Radio tuned and matched antenna and cable by Dan Cornett. Dan does the radio systems for Supercross.
Replaced drivers seat foam as it was sagging.
Bilstine 5100 shocks on all 4 corners.
Custom built skid plate that covers the Catalytic converter and T case. I built this as I got tired of welding the cat back on when they tried 3 times to steal it. Now they can’t get to it. Truck is in great shape for its age. Only a few minor scratches and dents. I change the oil and filter every 5K miles with castor oil high mileage oil. Ready to go wherever you want it to take you. I’m only selling it as I’m buying a new truck.
Truck currently has 147K miles on it. It will have about 150K miles when I sell it once I get my new truck. Sorry but the Baja Ful plate are staying with me for my new truck.

Got the truck smogged today. Passed with no issues.
Got new tags for the truck and they are now good till May of 2022.
Had a guy run a CARFAX and it came back clean. 6 owners.
