Bought this explorer last year with the intention of building a prerunner. It was my dream platform! 4.0 liter, 5 speed and 4x4! Unfortunately priorities have gotten in the way and I gotta let this thing go. I spent a ton of money on maintenance to make sure it stays reliable. I’m gonna take a loss but I would at least like to try and recoup the money I spent on parts. The outside is straight, the paint isn’t perfect but it’s not terrible either. The interior is in great shape. It’s been my commuter to work and have transported my kids in it so I’ve taken great care of it and the previous owners look like they did as well. Clean title with 190k on the clock. Everything works as it should, hot heat, cold ac, and even the cruise control. All power windows and door locks with power mirrors. Here’s the list of parts I have installed. Everything was done 9k miles ago except for the battery and alternator which I installed today.

Idle air control valve
Ac vacuum lines
New MAF sensor
New plugs, wires, and coil
New battery and alternator
Replaced radio and cluster bezel in dash
Cranked torsion bars with alignment cams and proper alignment
New upper arms
New lower arms
New front brakes
New wheel bearings
New power steering pump
New 3 inch aluminum radiator with shroud
New radiator hoses
New tires
New OEM headlights and tail lights
60 watt LED bulbs with highs and lows
LED interior lights
New door bushings
New door handles in front
New trunk bushings
New hood and trunk struts
New windshield with 30% tint
5% tint on the rest of the windows
Previous owner said he replaced the clutch but I cannot verify that. It shifts fine though

Comes with extra materiel for door bushings
New passenger window regulator
Head unit and speakers (the factory radio works but it sucks)
Oil pressure sensor
New door handles for rear
Black widow race muffler

The only con for the explorer is it will need front axles at some point. It runs and drives fine the way it is but in 4x4 at full lock the CV joints bind.
I never replaced them as it did not affect daily driving and I was going to replace them with extended axles when I installed a long travel kit. Axles are $120 for both on rock auto
