Legend has it Kurt Leduc built about a dozen of these. I always see a few at the San Felipe race. Previous owner had it built in 2005, used it very little. I bought it in 2010 and put about 6600 miles on it. Odometer reads 10606. I used it for play and prerunning Baja races.
Very comfortable ride, wont spill your beer unless you hit something real hard.
About 1000 miles on rebuilt stock 351W, upgraded to serpentine belt. Holley Carb, K&N Filter with Foam pre filter. All smog has been removed so it will not pass a California emissions inspection. Sold as an off road vehicle in California. Could probably be brought back to legal but that’s on you or register in AZ or another state. I also have a pile of spare parts from the second motor which was fuel injected.
3 Speed automatic transmission with Manual transfer case. Rear drive shaft and spare recently rebuilt by East County Driveline.
Interior has suspension Seats, PCI Roadmaster radio with intercom, Mastercraft 5 point belts. Winters Gate Shifter. New motors in Power windows and rear window recently installed.
Five KMC Machined Finish Model 222 17” bead lock wheels with 37” BFG Bajas. Has a mounted Aluminum Jack.
Three Linked 40 spline 9” full floater with nodular case and spool built by Cone starting with Track 9 housing. Wilwood calipers.
Glass fenders and hood. Full cage front to back.
TTB has been cut and turned and heavily reinforced. PCI Ram Assist Cross over steering with double shear mounts on all heims.
King 3” Race Series coil overs with reservoirs, 2” bump stops, Kartec Limit straps, 5/8” wheel studs on all four corners.
Billet Leduc Side Mirrors.
30-35 Gallon fuel cell with gauge, electric pump, and skid plate.
Tube bumpers front and back.
Dual extinguishers on quick disconnects in the cab.
7” HID lights
