Looking for a seat for my Pops. He is an experienced hare scramble racer, has won multiple years in District 36 and AMA Western US Hare Scrambles in the A Master's class (most recently). When he's not doing that, he's in his CTS-V smoking McLarens and Lambos at Seca/Buttonwillow/Sears or riding mountain bikes all around the state. I've jokingly called him "The Fastest Old Man in the West" since he finished top 20 in the Hare Scrambles and got his red plate in 2013.

He recently took a big fall during an endurance race at Glen Helen, breaking his neck, then driving himself back to the Bay (and turning my sister into an algebra problem, if a concussed father leaves LA at 70mph...). It's resulted in him "letting the old man in" and hanging up the number plate. It's bumming him out, he's a competitive dude and racing is all he's done. I think getting him into the wrong seat is going to get his competitive edge back, not to mention that he sees lines that seemingly don't exist. It's also probably good to have some metal between him and the ground so his wet bag of meat isn't the first thing to hit the ground.

If you're looking for someone to go fast with, Pops is the guy. I'm sure you'll need to meet up, grab a beer or go for a ride. He's in the South Bay and is up in Tahoe/Reno every other weekend with his girlfriend. I'm happy to make the connection.
