Job description
Currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, repair & service our off-road construction equipment. Candidates must have a minimum requirement of 5 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining brake systems, transmissions, differentials, engines, suspensions, hydraulic systems and electrical systems specific to heavy off-road construction equipment.
Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities
Perform minor and major repairs on heavy duty construction equipment, such as but not limited to backhoes, skid steers, loaders, excavators, dozers, forklifts, etc.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on machines
Must have own tools [specialty tools provided by company]
Will preform onsite & offsite repairs (company service vehicle for offsite repairs).
Diesel Mechanic skills:
5+ years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Must possess a valid driver license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Good reading and writing skills
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
